Matt Groening says that by making The Simpsons yellow, "it looks like there's something wrong with your television set." However, I remember reading somewhere a few years ago that the idea behind it is so that they stand out if you're flicking through the channels. So, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but they aren't chinese. However, The use of Korean animation studios doing in-betweening, colouring, and filming made the episodes cheaper when they sprung to an independent level after having just been shorts on the Tracy Ulman show. So they do have some Asian blood in them!

Which would you choose. an ugly girl with a fantastic figure, or a drop-dead gorgeous girl who's fat? This one is tricky, because I really feel as though looks don't matter, and attraction comes down to presonality and strength of character. However, I also feel as though overweight people represent a lack of self discipline and thus strength.
