Slowpoke

Once upon a time, there was a rabbit and a tortoise.

The rabbit is a kan cheong rabbit, and likes to do things fast fast. It run here, run there, run everywhere.

The tortoise, on the other hand, likes to do things at his own pace. It likes to take time to think and then look around and ask questions, and then think some more.

The rabbit and the tortoise are forever quarrelling.

The rabbit will tell the tortoise, "Why you so slow!".

And the tortoise will tell the rabbit, "You so kan cheong for what!".

Then one day there is a flood, and the flood waters covered everywhere and everything, until there is no dry ground left to stand on. The poor rabbit 's burrow was filled with water, and rabbits don't like to get their feet wet. Fortunately, the tortoise was very kind. It let the rabbit stand on its hard shelly back until the waters receded and it was safe for the rabbit to go home.

Then, another day, the turtle was trying to get to the other side of the road. But as it was halfway across the road, suddenly a truck came roaring up. Fortunately the rabbit saw the truck. It ran across the road, scooped up the tortoise, shell and all, and ran across to the other side, safely and soundly.

So what is the morale of the story?

The morale of the story is, I don't care whether you're a tortoise or a rabbit, whether you're fast or slow, you need to learn to live together and work together! Whether you like it or not, you need each other!

And, stop quarrelling!

This post is dedicated to my Slowpoke friend. *Peace*
